A Celebration of Love, Music & Culture

What does San Francisco need in 2025 more than anything? LOVE — and we're bringing it to the heart of the city in the most vibrant way possible!

Join us for our SECOND LoveFest SF, a FREE block party that will transform Larkin Street (between Eddy and O'Farrell) into a celebration of electronic dance music, arts, culture, food, and community.

This year, we're turning up the love with great local DJs, exciting performances, and plenty of good vibes to go around across 4 incredible stages!

Presented by Value Culture, AW3 Technology, Tenderloin Merchants Association, and SFVibe, LoveFest SF is a collaborative event with a mission to foster unity and creativity.

It's more than just a block party — it's a chance to come together, connect with neighbors, and immerse yourself in the best of what SF has to offer.

How it started

A road block party made from love

On August 3, 2024, the very first LoveFest SF took over Larkin Street between Eddy and O'Farrell — a free, all-day arts and music event in support of small business recovery in the Tenderloin. It was created by the Tenderloin Merchants Association, led by Rene Colorado, alongside Value Culture — a non-profit founded by SF native Adam Swig — and AW3 Technology's William Schulz, with support from the Civic Joy Foundation and SFMTA.

"When I started inviting people to be a part of Love Fest SF they would say 'why down there?' I saw all the great SF cultural activations happening — SOMA's First Thursdays, Bhangra and Beats in FiDi, the Chinatown Night Market, Fred Again with Skrillex at Civic Center, the Dirtybird rave on the Embarcadero. The Tenderloin needs love too, so I called up Rene Colorado."— Adam Swig, Value Culture

Inspired by the Burning Man community's spirit of radical self-expression — and a belief that the same energy lives every day in the Tenderloin — the team built LoveFest around some of the most fun local EDM DJs and the small immigrant-owned businesses on Larkin Street. Vendors like Sweet Glory, Lers Ros Thai, Pho 2000, Lee's Sandwiches, and Rainbow Market & Deli were the heart of the festival site.

"What we love about this festival is all the food and drink vendors are the businesses operating on Larkin street. These mom and pop businesses welcome you to the Tenderloin."— Rene Colorado, Tenderloin Merchants Association

The first edition proved the thesis: the only way to break a doom loop is a road block party made from love. In 2025 we're back — bigger, with four stages — to keep that energy alive. Read the full 2024 story →
